About Low Vision Gamers
I'm Daniel. I was born with nystagmus: my eyes move constantly, and I see 20/120 with my better eye and 20/720 with the other, too little to read even large print.
My vision has never changed, so I've spent my whole life finding ways around small print. I can play games, but anything that depends on tiny details or fast movement shuts me out. What I love are word games and turn-based games, where I can take my time and explore the whole screen.
So I started making them, large, calm and clear, for everyone who sees the world a little differently.
By day I'm a software engineer and project manager in my fifties. I give conferences in English and French, and I'm a Distinguished Toastmaster.
Why large print matters
Most games are made for perfect eyesight: small letters, pale colours, things that flash and move. When you can't see them, you're simply left out. Large print brings people back to the puzzles they love, on paper and on screen.
What we promise
- Our games are free to play, every day.
- No account, no sign-up, no password to remember.
- No tricks: nothing that moves too fast, no pop-ups during play.
- Text size and colours you choose, remembered on your device.
- Honest recommendations: we only suggest what we'd give to someone we love.
What's coming
More games, starting with word scramble and sudoku, and large-print puzzle books in English and French.
